Ohio University–Lancaster offers a two-year program leading to an Associate in Applied Science with a major in industrial maintenance technology. The program has been developed in response to the great demand expressed by manufacturers for skilled technicians. It is intended to train for career fields related to those of the electrician, machine repair technician, or maintenance technician. Students may direct the program to a specific career opportunity through independent study and externship courses.

Major Requirements: 39 hours
Specializaton Area
Choose either the Electrical Maintenance or Mechanical Maintenance track. Electrical Maintenance Track: 26 hours
Complete the following courses, as well as 10 additional hours of IMT: Mechanical Maintenance Track: 26 hours
Complete the following courses, as well as 13 additional hours of IMT: Elective IMT Courses: Minimum 11 hours
Complete any combination of the following courses (you must complete each at least once) and other nonrequired IMT courses: General Requirements: 32–35 hours
Complete a Tier I Quantitative Skills course (MATH 109 or 113 recommended), 4-5 hours of Tier II Humanities and Literature requirements, 4-5 hours of Tier II Social Sciences requirements, and the following courses: Minimum Hours Required for Graduation: 98
