Program Overview

The East Asian studies certificate is open to students from any major. It will provide undergraduates with a broad understanding of East Asia, as well as with language skills applicable for a wide variety of professions. The curriculum involves courses from four university colleges and many disciplines and it includes opportunity for study abroad in China at the Ohio Shandong Center in East Asian Studies.

Certificate Hours Requirements


The East Asian studies certificate program requires a minimum of 26 hours and maintaining a 2.5 or higher GPA in certificate courses.
