Program Overview

The preprofessional program in environmental geology is designed to provide you with broad training for careers in many aspects of environmental science. In many areas, you should anticipate further training at the graduate level. Consult with the undergraduate advisor in the Geological Sciences Department before planning your schedule of coursework.

Opportunities Upon Graduation

Career paths in conservation, natural resources management, land-use planning, environmental quality control, water resources, and water quality can be pursued from the platform of courses provided by the B.S. in environmental geology. Graduate work will be needed in some cases.
