The patient-centered continuum curriculum is a dynamic curriculum expressly designed to address the rapidly-changing health care environment. Because of this, the college reserves the right to change courses in order to provide students with the tools they will need to provide current, up-to-date medical care.
Students matriculating into the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011 will begin their studies in the quarter-based system. However, it is expected that the semester system will be implemented at the beginning of the 2012 academic year. Matriculants in the 2011-2012 academic year should see the semester-based listings for information regarding years two, three and four of their medical studies.
