The following interdisciplinary program in the Departments of Geography, Mathematics, and Physics can prepare you for graduate training in meteorology, climatology, or atmospheric physics. The program can be taken with an emphasis in geography, mathematics, or physics (see departmental listings in this section). If you choose the geography emphasis, contact the Department of Geography for advising. Work with your advisor to develop a plan to complete both the University General Education Requirements and courses within your major. Within the major, be aware of course prerequisites and frequency of course offerings. Students might wish to consider a double major or a minor in math or physics.
