This program leads to a B.S. in mathematics with an emphasis on applications of mathematics to other disciplines. The intent is to help prepare you for employment as a professional applied mathematician. If you are pursuing this program, you should select an additional concentration area in ONE of the following areas: engineering, computer science, natural sciences, social sciences, or business. In addition to 52 hours of mathematics course requirements, at least 16 hours of extra departmental coursework at the 200 level or above is required in this chosen area.
