Program Overview

Ohio University–Chillicothe, Ohio University–Lancaster, and Ohio University–Southern offer a two-year program of study in business management technology (BMT) leading to the Associate in Applied Business degree. The program offers a balance of theory and practice suitable for students interested in careers in supervision. The principles of continuous quality improvement are used throughout the program. The BMT program includes a concentration requirement that provides students with opportunities for course work that more specifically prepares them for careers in supervision. Concentration areas are determined with a student’s advisor and include two 3 credit hour courses in areas such as marketing, quality control, real estate, organizational communication, computer technology, finance, accounting technology, electronic media, among others.
