Program Overview

The minor in philosophy provides students with opportunities to explore the philosophical questions that have engaged thinkers throughout time and enriches the core of their liberal education.

Minor Hours Requirement


The philosophy minor requires a minimum of 15 hours.

Program Requirements


Complete 15 hours in philosophy (PHIL). At least 12 hours must be courses numbered 2000 and above, including at least two courses numbered 3000 or above.
