Program Overview

The Art History minor is offered for non-Art History majors who wish to pursue study in the field of art history.

Admissions Information

To declare an Art History minor, students should consult with their major advisor and also with an advisor in the School of Art + Design. Approval from the Director of the School of Art + Design is required. Minimum requirement of 2.0 overall GPA required for admission. You must maintain a 2.75 GPA in the minor.

Opportunities Upon Graduation

The Art History minor is designed for students majoring in other fields who want to expand their knowledge of the history, criticism, and theory of art.

The Art History minor requires a minimum of 23 hours. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA in the minor.
