Program Overview

The HTC program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies provides an opportunity to explore the phenomenon of gender and its intersection with race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, and other elements of diversity. It is the first interdisciplinary HTC program, and as such complements the already rich variety of course offerings across many fields. Students have the opportunity of working in tutorial format with instructors from different disciplines.

*This program was previously BA1945 which awarded the Bachelor of Arts in Women’s and Gender Studies degree. Pending Board of Trustees approval (anticipated June 2024), the new program code will be BA1984 and will award the Bachelor of Arts effective the 2024-25 catalog year.
