In accordance with Section IA of the Ohio University Faculty Handbook, Ohio University subscribes fully to the 1940 Statement of Principles on Academic Freedom and Tenure of the American Association of University Professors regarding academic freedom and tenure, except as altered in Section II.D.2.a. of the Handbook.
Section II.D.2.a. is consistent with the statement adopted by the American Association of University Professors in June 1978.
