A H 446 - Islamic Art and Architecture Studies art and architecture of the Islamic world. Concentrates on monuments, arts, and architecture from the beginning of the seventh century to the present. Also explores the forms and functions of the visual arts, while examining the social and historical contexts that have contributed to their development and significance. Major themes and regional variations of Islamic art are covered. Prerequisites: JR OR SR
