BIOS 417 - Cognitive Neuroscience Neural basis of higher-order process in humans and other vertebrates: learning and memory, perception, attention, emotion, motivation and reward, language, decision-making, consciousness. Students learn to understand cognitive processes by integrating current research at behavioral, systems, and cellular levels. A major goal of the course is to train students to evaluate and to participate effectively in critical discussion of current research literature. 4 lec. Prerequisites: BIOS 413 OR 414 OR 415 OR PSY 312
