BIOS 459 - Biology of Reptiles Evolutionary origin, taxonomy and classification, anatomy physiology, ecology, behavior and genetics of reptiles (turtles, crocodylians, tuataras, lizards, and snakes). Field techniques of safe capture and monitoring for population presence and abundance. Identification of Ohio species and North American genera and families. 2 lec, 3 lab and field trips. Prerequisites: BIOS 330 & JR OR SR & NOT 472
