CH E 444 - Chemical Engineering Design II

Continuation of 443. Preliminary design of a chemical process. Process synthesis, computer flowsheeting, layout, safety, and economics. Involves trips to various chemical plants. Also involves the assessment of skills from explicit and implicit prerequisite courses. 2 lec, 4 rec.
Prerequisites: CH E 443

Credit Hours: 4General Education Code: T3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
