CHEM 431 - Chemical Separation Methods Modern methods of separating components of complex mixtures with emphasis on operation and application to analytical chemistry. Topics include liquid-liquid extractions, partition chromatography, ion-exchange, gas chromatography, high pressure liquid chromatography, exclusion chromatography, and electrophoresis. Concurrent registration in 434 required for initial enrollment. 3 lec. Prerequisites: C- OR BETTER IN (CHEM 241 & (351 OR 453))
