COMS 422 - Communication in the Family Examination of the communication concepts basic to understanding interaction in the family. Provides a framework for analysis of family communication. Explores communication issues that relate to family interaction, including conflict, power, intimacy, and the development of relationships. Presents a model of effective communication in the family. Consideration of verbal and nonverbal communication behaviors. Prerequisites: COMS 101 OR C OR BETTER IN 206 & (JR OR SR)
Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
