CTCH 287 - Database Administration

This course provides an introduction to the administration of databases. The students will examine the role of a database administrator in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining a database and a database server. The course also covers management of secure access to the database and planning for disaster recovery.
Prerequisites: CTCH 285

Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
