EDEC 340 - Teaching Science for Young Children

Emphasis on constructivist science teaching through hands-on inquiring processes. National Standards examined and applied. Science equipment, instructional resources and technology, and safety procedures emphasized.
Prerequisites: JR OR SR & ADM TO ADV STAN IN PROF EDUC & 2.75 GPA & 15 HRS OF SCIENCE WITH LABS

Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
