EDSE 440 - Secondary School Science Methods

Study of curriculum and teaching goals; preparation of inquiry-based lessons; uses of technology in science instruction; science safety, studied and practiced. Written and verbal evaluation of teaching; critiques of instructional resources; creation of a science teacher professional development plan.
Prerequisites: EDSE 351 & (JR OR SR)

Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
