EDSP 272 - Introduction to Education of Mentally Retarded Children and Youth

Etiology, diagnosis, classification, learning potential, and general characteristics of children with mental retardation with an emphasis on psychosociological impact of retardation upon individual, family, and community.
Prerequisites: SPECIAL EDUCATION BLOCK I

Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
