EDSP 355 - Technological Applications in Special Education

Develop knowledge and experience necessary to use microcomputers and other technology with persons who have special needs. Consideration is given to the functionality of hardware, software and peripherals available for use with these individuals. Focus on the concerns of special education teachers in using computer assisted instruction and other technology with students, including compensation for sensory, physical, communication, and learning handicaps.
Prerequisites: C OR BETTER IN EDTE 200 & 201 & 202

Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
