EDSP 475 - Methods and Materials for Teaching Persons with Moderate/Intensive Educational Needs Design and application of multifactored/transdisciplinary assessment procedures, curricular adoption/development, IEP transition, technology planning, proficiency testing/alternatives, instructional strategies including age-appropriate, functional, and community reference skills; use of positive behavioral supports; educational, adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and instructional materials to promote self-determination. Methods are applied through case-based instruction, hands-on participation, and cooperative teaming. Prerequisites: C OR BETTER IN EDSP 361 & 377 & 485
Credit Hours: 5 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
