EDTE 422 - Diagnosis and Treatment of Reading Disabilities

Correlates of variability in reading proficiency. Incidence of retardation and disability. Proposed causes of failure and concept of multiple causation. Specialized materials and instructional efforts. Systematic observation of causes of reading disability and preparation of case report.
Prerequisites: (EDTE 325 & 421) OR EDEC 225 & 319 & 421

Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
