ENG 251 - English Literature to 1688 Surveys some of the major authors, genres, and movements of the early British period, from the Anglo-Saxons to the Glorious Revolution in the 17th century. The course includes some of the most influential literary figures of the period, but will also give attention to the less canonical writers who have attracted increasing scholarly attention in recent years. Prerequisites: ENG 250 OR CONCURRENT
Credit Hours: 5 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken 4 times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
