ENG 324A - Jewish American Literature


Studies in Jewish American literature from arrival in the seventeenth century to the present; analysis of how Jewish American literature influences and is influenced by the classical canon of American literature and how Jewish American writers respond to the Jewish mandate - tikkum olam (to heal the world) - to place, environment and the diaspora.
Prerequisites: 2 COURSES ABOVE ENG 200

Credit Hours: 4
