OCOM 896 - Palliative Care(1 week)
This experiential course is designed to expand student’s knowledge base regarding pain and palliative care. Those dealing with life-threatening illnesses often require complex, interdisciplinary care to maximize their quality of life. This course will expose students to the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those near the end of life in multiple venues (hospital, office, home, and/or residential care).
