EDTE 2010 - Characteristics of Learners with Exceptionalities Addresses identification, referral, assessment procedures, service delivery options, parental involvement, laws, legal issues and implications, inclusion, collaboration, agency and related service personnel, and assistive technologies. Focuses on characteristics and best practices for meeting the needs of the full range of learners (including students with gifts and talents and cultural and linguistic diversity) from preschool through young adulthood. Best teaching practice modeled and required.
