SOC 3720 - Sociology of Masculinity This course examines developments in the study of men and masculinity. The course focuses on the construction of masculinity in sports, family, work, and other social relationships. The effects of masculine identity on people and social institutions will be a primary focus of the course. The course also explores how masculinity is affected by and affects racial, occupational, physical ability, and sexual identities.
