MAT 2020 - Clinical Medical Assisting Techniques II Theory and practice in minor hematology, laboratory tests, urinalysis, oral and parenteral medication administration, pharmacology, and venipuncture. Covers topics, such as documentation and government regulations, quality control and safety practices, health maintenance and disease prevention, and emergency practices. Recommended prerequisites: MAT 2010 (grade of C or better), BIOS 1300, MAT 1400, MAT 1010, MAT major, required immunizations, provider-level CPR and first aid certifications.
