ME 3140 - Introduction to Manufacturing Processes Introduction to applied statistics in manufacturing. Interrelationship between process, design, materials and mechanical properties. Introduction to major metal manufacturing processes: casting, rolling, forging, extrusion, drawing, machining, powder metallurgy and heat treating.
