NURS 1130 - Nursing Pharmacology: ADN Gain knowledge about medication therapy that will assist the nursing student to make sound nursing judgments associated with medication therapy. Basic principles of drug administration using critical thinking, caring behaviors, safety and infection control principles will enable the student to provide effective medication therapy to clients of all ages. Includes the use of specific medication classes and prototypes of the class and the actions of those drugs, their side effects, adverse reactions, and drug interactions.
