AT 6920 - Practicum Guided work experience in various aspects of administration and operation of athletic training facilities.
Requisites: Master of Science in Athletic Training Major Credit Hours: 1 - 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 8.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 20.0 practicum Grades: Eligible Grades: F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Demonstrate professional affective behaviors in accordance with the Ohio Athletic Training Practice Act, NATA Code of Ethics, BOC Standard of Practice, and the Graduate Athletic Training Program Policies and Procedures manual.
- Provide uncompromised health care to intercollegiate, high school, and club sports student-athletes and others requiring services; based on the best available evidence and framed within the context of a medically underserved region.
- Use the opportunity to use clinical cases as the framework for class discussion, case studies, and form the basis for future research.
