CE 6610 - Environmental Analysis Transportation Systems The role of environmental assessment in transportation planning and project development is addressed.

- Students will become familiar with FHWA policy & environmental process.
- Students will learn about archeological & historical impacts of transportation facility.
- Students will learn about functions of wetland.
- Students will learn about impacts of transportation facility on air quality.
- Students will learn about impacts of transportation facility on water quality.
- Students will learn about legeslative & regulative foundations for a transportation facility.
- Students will understand biological/ecological impacts of transportation facility.
- Students will understand how completed highway projects can be assessed.
- Students will understand how economic analysis of transportation systems can be made.
