CSD 8964 - Advanced Topics in Auditory Prostheses Provides overview of basic research and its clinical implications in cochlear implants and other auditory prostheses including intraneural implants, auditory brainstem implants, midbrain implants, and optical stimulation of auditory neurons. Discusses clinical issues with cochlear implants. Provides experience and troubleshooting with the newest hardware and software used in clinical cochlear-implant programming.
