CSD 8969 - Lexical Acquisition in Children Provides students with detailed information about typical lexical (semantic) development, how the mental lexicon is organized, theoretical explanations of word learning, and word learning difficulties in children. Both theoretical and clinical perspectives will be provided. Seminar is reading and discussion intensive.

- Submit a semester-end critical review paper synthesizing and critiquing lexical acquisition in a given area of interest.
