EDCE 7541 - Adlerian Theory, Methods, and Research Theory, research, and applications of individual psychology in educational, community, business, and private practice settings. Counseling, consultation, and psychotherapy methods and techniques will be demonstrated.
Requisites: Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Apply Adlerian counseling to counseling with children and adolescents, adults and career counseling, working with couples, families, and groups.
- Demonstrate understanding of basic tenets by analyzing case studies.
- Evaluate the Adlerian approach and assess ways in which they are likely to incorporate it in future practice.
- Examine and understand basic tenets of Adlerian counseling.
- Examine and understand the origins of Adlerian counseling.
