EE 6643 - Digital Image Processing Provides basic concepts and methodologies for digital image processing, and develops a foundation as the basis for further study and research in this and related fields. All mainstream areas of image processing covered, including image fundamentals/modalities, image registration, Radon transform/image reconstruction/projection-slice theorem, spatial and frequency domain image enhancement, image restoration/Wiener filtering, color image processing, wavelets/curvelets/multi-resolution analysis, image/video compression, morphological watershed, segmentation, description/object recognition, video processing, and image data fusion.
