FILM 5260 - Advanced Sound Techniques
Advanced practice in production sound recording. Advanced practice in post-production sound techniques and sound design including sound effects, music, dubbing, looping, and post-production mixing.
Requisites: Film major
Credit Hours: 1 - 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 12.0 hours.

Learning Outcomes:
- Develop an expanded understanding of the art and science of post-production sound manipulation.
- Develop greater understanding of the possibilities of sound design.
- Develop the filmmaker’s facility with the language of sound for film and video.
- Developing greater practical skills on the set and in the mixing studio.
