FILM 7710 - Master Class II This is the second course in a two-course sequence for the MFA student making a second-year or thesis film. The focus is on the production and post-production of the film.
Requisites: Permission required Credit Hours: 1 - 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 4.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Complete an edit of the project.
- If a documentary project, complete production on the project.
- If a documentary project, completion of necessary research and plan for production.
- If a narrative project, complete production on the project, furthering the understanding of the director’s function on the set, including guiding performance and crafting a visual system.
- If a narrative project, completion of a shooting script with further understanding of crafting visual narratives.
