• Students will compare events, attitudes, and policies in France and/or other Francophone countries with analogous ones in the United States.
• Students will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of increasingly multifaceted French and/or Francophone societies.
• Students will develop and apply research skills that will encourage an ongoing investigation of contemporary French and/or Francophone culture.
• Students will express ideas and findings in writing, class discussions, and oral presentations.
• Students will investigate and evaluate multiple points of view.
• Students will analyze how culture influences oneself and others.
