KIKU 5110 - Elementary Kikuyu I

Culture based approach to increased language proficiency. Students continue to develop listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills as they study diverse history and customs of Kikuyu speakers.

Requisites:
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 lecture
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • The students will learn greetings in Kikuyu.
  • Learn common verbs in Kikuyu.
  • Learn some common verbs in Kikuyu.
  • Learn leave taking in Kikuyu.
  • Learn self introduction and expression in Kikuyu.
  • Learn to ask questions and make requests in Kikuyu.
  • Learn to count in Kikuyu.
