- Ability to determine the heat transfer between a surface and a fluid flow.
- Ability to determine viscous stresses and forces on surfaces in a fluid flow.
- Ability to develop conservation laws for thermo-fluid systems.
- Ability to use dimensionless numbers to analyze free and forced convection.
