MFE 6010 - Macroeconomics and Business Fluctuations

Analyses of demand for money, inflation, interest rates, capital growth, asset markets, financial intermediaries, and the relationship between money and the business cycles. Other topics include national income, savings, investment, unemployment, fiscal, and monetary policies.

Requisites:
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 8.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • To allow students make analyses of macroeconomic dynamics and the relation between them.
  • To discuss the business fluctuations and other related topics with case studies.
