Application of financial theory and analysis techniques to major financial decisions facing managers.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Learn the theoretical foundations of financial policy including capital structure and dividend policy and understand valuation implications of these policies to firms.
  • Students are able to build simple spreadsheet-based financial models for financial forecasting and capital budgeting.
  • Students will be able to apply the lessons of capital budgeting to project analysis, lease analysis, and firm valuation.
