PHIL 5920 - Applied Ethics An examination of the relationship of applied ethics to ethics as a branch of philosophy, as well as a survey of the major areas within applied ethics (medical, business, journalistic, etc.), and a consideration of selected problems in each.
Requisites: Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 6.0 practicum Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Student wll be able to perform a consideration of selected ethical problems in each area.
- Students will demonstrate a knowledge of the relationship of applied ethics to ethics as a branch of philosophy, a survey of major areas within applied ethics (medical, business, journalistic, etc.).
