MGT 5350 - Managing Employee Relations Study of discretionary and mandatory employee relations issues such as discipline procedures, individual employment contracts, union contract administration, and alternative dispute resolution. Topics also include employee safety and health issues, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

- General understanding of third-party intervention in labor disputes and grievance arbitration.
- The ability to identify and correct unfair labor practices in union campaigns, contract negotiations, and contract administration.
