ART 2670 - Computer-Aided Design: Professional Applications Instruction of computer-aided design applications to support the generation of architectural floor plans, elevations, schedules and details in construction documents.
Requisites: ART 2600 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will identify and apply fundamental concepts in computer-aided design for interior environments.
- Students will acquire knowledge of the current applications of CAD in the interior design professional practice and related fields
- Students will acquire knowledge to critically evaluate CAD for the use of designing for interior environments.
- Students will apply concepts and ideas presented in the course in the design studio context.
- Students will implement critical thinking and intellectual thought as an essential aspect of the act of designing.
