CS 4250 - Interactive Computer Graphics Introduces modern interactive computer graphics. Emphasizes hands-on learning through the development of several projects throughout the semester. Topics include: graphical systems and models, graphics programming, input and interaction, geometric objects and transformations lighting and shading, and discrete techniques.
Requisites: CS 3610 and (MATH 3200 or 3210) Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to create interactive computer graphics programs that allow a user to manipulate 2D and/or 3D objects in real-time.
- Students will be able to create programs able to display 3D graphics.
- Students will be able to create programs able to display simple 2D graphics.
- Students will be able to evaluate the technology behind real-time 3D computer games.
