FR 1199 - French for Review
Preparation for FR 2110 for students with some high school French. Review of grammar and vocabulary with intensive practice adapting to college-level expectations and instructional techniques. Emphasis on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Does not satisfy language or humanities requirements in Arts and Sciences.
Requisites: French placement level 1199 and WARNING: No credit for this course if taken after the following: any FR course taken
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes: - The successful student possesses sufficient language skills, grammatical knowledge and vocabulary to enroll in 2110 and make satisfactory progress through that course.
